Lindsay Towns Chartered Psychologist, B.Sc.Hons, PGCE, B.A.Hons, M.A.Child Psychology, Member of British Psychological Society & Association of Educational Psychologists.
Lindsay started her professional life as a teacher after receiving a biology degree from the University of East Anglia. She went to teach in Nigeria and on her return to he UK studied with the Open University and was awarded an Honours Degree in Psychology.
After starting a family she returned to full-time teaching and was appointed Deputy Head Teacher of a Norfolk First School. She was seconded by the L.E.A. to study for an M.A. in Child Psychology at Nottingham University specialising in autism. Lindsay practised for ten years in Norfolk as an Educational Psychologist continuing her interest in autism as well as cerebral palsy, anti-bullying and critical incidence response.
She believes passionately that understanding autism is the 'key' to making a difference.
"Training linked to research is the way forward to making a real difference", says Lindsay. "I like to spend my spare time with family & friends, walking the dog, gardening, reading or sometimes just doing yoga".

Retired from the B.B.C.he found a niche in conferencing and audio visual presentations. Supplies sound effects and equipment to the events industry and authors PowerPoint* presentations including specially 'shot' digital video and sound.
